QLD Toy Drive - Supporting Children's Hospital Foundation

Help us give back this festive season! Our QLD Toy Drive is on again this year, in support of The Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Between now and 15 December, simply drop a gift donation off at one of our QLD branches. Brand new items only are being accepted, ad must be delivered unwrapped.

To make it even easier, scan the QR code for items from the Amazon Wishlist that are most needed and will have maximum impact.

Thanks to your support, we can assist in surprising children in hospital with a present delivery to their bedside on Christmas morning. Your donation will make a significant difference to the spirit and morale of children during treatment and recovery.

The children in the hospital may be at various stages of treatment and so there are a few rules we need to follow to make sure we keep everyone safe.

Unfortunately, to ensure safety of children we are unable to accept a number of items. Including:

  • Political, controversial, or religious items
  • Items with sharps
  • Food or toxic items (no latex)
  • Small objects
  • Anything with button batteries
  • Knitted blankets

The following is a list of some items that we always require:

Babies and toddlers - easy to clean items such as rattles, stacking blocks, things that light up and flip, push and pull toys.

Younger children (3-7 years) – Play Doh, Plastic animals and dinosaurs, cars, trucks, individual barbies, Shopkins, My Little Pony toys, pencils and crayons.

Older children (8-12 years) – Remote control cars, action figures, colouring activities, pens and pencils, individual craft packs and sensory toys.

Teenagers (13+ years) – gift vouchers, rubix cubes, Bluetooth speakers and headphones, stem and craft kits, and mindfulness colouring books.

We also appreciate clothes for all ages and sizes, including adults. Reading books for all ages and LEGO for all ages is always a hit!
